The therapy process is a unique experience for each individual. As each person enters the therapy space with a unique life story, my process involves creating the space for you to explore all facets of identity that ultimately impact how you show up in your worlds.

Drawing upon my extensive training, research, and clinical experience, I specialize in addressing a wide range of issues from anxiety, depression, stress, grief, identity and self esteem, relationship conflicts and dynamics, to the impacts of societal expectations and perfectionism.
By integrating culturally-sensitive and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy, I work to empower my patients in navigating these challenges and find a sense of authenticity, balance, and fulfillment in life.
Together, we will explore your values, beliefs, and experiences, allowing you to gain deeper insights into how they shape your perspective and influence your well-being. By fostering increased self-awareness, we will work collaboratively to strengthen your coping skills, improve your health, build resilience, and foster healthier relationships.

How do I know when to start therapy?
If you're thinking about it, then therapy may already be something that could be helpful for you. There are many preconceptions about therapy that often make it difficult to take the first step, but many find it to be the one of most rewarding decisions they ever make and leave therapy with a deeper understanding of the self. There are no topics too big or too small to bring up in the therapy space.
How long do I have to commit to therapy for?
Therapy in my practice is entirely voluntary, there is no commitment or contract. I invite my patients to attend therapy for as long as it remains helpful. Some find long-term counseling to be beneficial, while some may feel that attending a couple sessions has already helped them to feel more resolved. My therapy is tailored to the individual and I am happy to work with you on establishing a care plan that works for your schedule.
What is tele-health, and how does therapy work via tele-health?
Tele-health simply means that you are accessing a health service remotely, via a secure video platform. Therapy via tele-health works the same way as it does in-person. Since the pandemic, many patients opt for tele-health for health reasons, ease of access, and convenience without needing to travel to a physical office space. Many studies have found that having therapy sessions via tele-health actually makes services more effective as the patient is able to be in the comfort and familiarity of their own home while discussing sensitive subjects.
